This hotel was an oasis. Close enough to the gas stations and food without being too close so there was no traffic. We drove a little less than an hour out to Castner glacier and then came back to our deluxe queen room which had an awesome, fully stocked kitchenette so bring whatever food youd like to have. Bed was cozy and area was quiet and accessible. My toddler loved this place too. If it wasnt so windy last night we would have used the stocked up fire pits. I also dont think Ive seen this nice of a tv set up in a hotel for a long time. My only complaint is not getting to stay longer!

The Alaska Frontier Inn in Delta Junction was a great experience. Check in was the smoothest I've ever had, I didnt even have to deal with a live person. It was spotless, with a great setup that made me feel right at home. They really thought of everything - free washer and dryer, snacks and drinks on the house, plus a microwave, hot plate and toaster oven in the room. The common areas were just as clean and welcoming. I didn't snap any photos, but take a peek online it's all there and just as lovely. The location is super convenient too, just a quick drive to Ft. Greely and a couple of minutes from downtown. It's the perfect base for exploring or if you're here for the base. Seriously, if you're heading to Delta Junction or Castner Glacier stay at the Alaska Frontier Inn. I will stay there every time I have to be in that area. Oh, I forgot the beds were super comfortable I slept like a baby.
