We absolutely loved our time at Bear Trail Lodge! Nancy and her husband are so kind and helpful. The cabins are so nice and clean! We loved all the meals, so delicious! Mason was so helpful and kind. And shout out to Ashlyn and Naiya for being amazing with our kids! Such a beautiful view from the lodge. We went to Brooks Falls and saw the bears and had great success. Highly recommend staying here! 11/10!

We just returned home from our 5th trip to Bear Trail. This was our best overall experience. Nanci, the owner, continues to do the little things to improve the customer experience. The fishing was amazing. On the last day, three of us, caught over 100 salmon in 5 hours. We did fly-outs to catch rainbows, arctic chars, and arctic graylings. It was a first class experience.

We chose to stay here based on Google reviews. It was our first trip to Alaska, and my 50th state, so we definitely wanted to go fishing. We visited the lodge right after the Summer Solstice and were absolutely blown away with how incredible our experience was. From the moment we landed at the King Salmon Airport to the moment we left, every detail was handled by the Bear Trail team and we couldn’t be more pleased. Nanci was so easy to work with when it came to booking our reservation and making sure we were taken care of throughout the trip. Woody gave us a warm welcome at the airport, and Tim gave us a top notch walkthrough when we arrived at the Lodge. Our seaplane pilot Rod was a blast to fly with and Bryan was a dream guide for our day on the Nushagak River. He kept us entertained and took us to the BEST spots to catch kings. The food at the lodge was 5 stars for every meal, and the sleeping accommodations were so, so comfortable. We are already looking forward to our trip next year - thank you!
