This is a long read, but worth it. So I've been going to Mary for over 6 years for my tax preparation. This year, I also had her file for my business that I started last year. We were leaving town in May and I went to her office several times to pick up my returns. They were closed each time with no notice of when they'd reopen. I also called multiple times, but there was no answer and no voicemail. I have a new CPA and needed my business return, which I requested and she emailed. Now, I have something from the IRS indicating that she filed the wrong form. I'm now working with my CPA to correct that, but needed to get a copy of my personal return, since Mary is the only one that has it. I emailed her today: Hi Mary, Could I also get a copy of my personal taxes? I never came by your office to pick it up before we left town. Thanks so much! Vickie Response: It's in the office waiting for you. You are trying to make me your unpaid employee My response: OK, I'll stop in when we're back in town. I went to your office several times before we left, but it was closed and there was no note on the door. Her response: That's not true my surveillance cameras say different So I called her and told her I was a shocked by her response after all the years I've been going to her. She says, "Good. Maybe you need to be shocked." WTH??? I told her she was ridiculous and she said Bye. Yeah, good-bye for sure! I'm thinking I might have to take legal action to get my document. And, btw, you're not an unpaid employee. I paid you $297 for my personal return and $475 for my business.

Okay these ladies are AMAZING. Before booking an appointment I called with a few questions about my tax return and amending them later on and without hesitation she explained everything to me. I told her how the usual liberty tax office I go to in vegas simply said I couldn't do it because of a bunch of reasons. Once I got there she was SOOOO sweet. Gave my 4 year old a coloring page to keep busy as I filled out paperwork. Offered her snacks and a piece of candy. They really made at the tax process quick and easy.
