SVH Landscaping Services

Please read this to get perspective. We don't ask much of landscapers; simply do what you are hired to do in a professional manner. That's it. That said, we have hired and fired seven landscaping companies over the last four years. (message me for names if you want them). We dealt with unending broken promises; broken sprinkler heads; doing things I expressly asked them NOT to do, (i.e. using gas hedge trimmers to trim bushes instead of pruning them)' "landscapers" who had NO knowledge of the VERY EXPENSIVE plants they are paid to care for; repairs done two or three times for the same issue then charging for every repair, always saying it "wasn't their fault"; shoddy work done improperly that my husband had to fix; not showing up; changing pricing after having agreed to one; charging by the hour while the crew stood around doing nothing, (we got video); presenting us with bills for work that was not authorized or requested; saying work was performed when it was not; ridiculous overcharges for simple jobs; our heads were almost literally exploding. It didn't matter the price point; the required monthly contracts were anywhere from $400 - $1,200 dollars; but we never received any difference in service level between the lowest and highest. Most interesting of all, we never paid less than $1,000 a month, and usually closer to $2,000 with "extras" added. One thing was very clear; no matter the cost, not one of these companies cared about the quality of their work and took no pride in it. My husband and I finally got so disgusted with the complete lack of accountability and horrible level of service that we bought an electric mower and blower, and resigned to do the easy stuff ourselves then hire a company to come every 8 weeks or so to do trimming and cleanup. Even that proved almost impossible: most companies wanted monthly contracts; and one in particular, Yaweh Tree Trimming, no-showed me twice in a row. The second time they no-showed, I did not even get the courtesy of a call or text. We had just about given up on getting any decent company to do work at our property. Determined to get at least the desperately needed spring cleanup work done, I began calling more companies. My third call was to SVH. The phone was promptly answered by Saul. I explained what needed to be done and my estimate of the amount of time it would take with three people, (3-4 hours). He gave me a quote which was not the cheapest but was also reasonable when the considerable amount of debris was taken into account. I asked when he could come out and he said "tomorrow morning". I was expecting to wait weeks! He and his crew came the next morning, as promised, and did the job in just slightly more time that I had estimated. They cleaned up after themselves, and gave me a bill. As I walked around the yard, I was VERY happy with the thoroughness. I had explained exactly what we had wanted done and they did not miss a thing. Also, they had driven their truck into what they thought was a ravine to load debris, but it was actually a city regulated runoff easement and we could have been cited if we were responsible for altering it. I called Saul as they were leaving and explained the situation. He and his crew immediately went to work getting the run off area back to its previous condition. He charged me nothing. We are more than impressed. To have found a company and individual with integrity and professionalism who does a great job; plus the ability and desire to do what we ask; is beyond fantastic. So glad we found SVH. They are now the only company we are calling when the yard needs another go around. And anything else, too!

I have utilized Saul and his company for well over a decade. He and his crew have helped me with all of my landscaping needs. Everything from design, irrigation, tree and shrub planting, pruning, overseeding (winter lawn), lighting, and weekly service. Saul has always been there for emergency leaks, damaged trees from monsoon seasons and worked within my budget. I highly recommend Saul, especially if you're in the Arrowhead/Stetson Hills area. Many of my neighbors utilze him for weekly, monthly maintence and one-time cleanups.

I've used these guy's twice so far for trimming some very tall palm tree's.. They get it done with a quickness & clean up all there mess. Great people ..

Saul, Victor and the crew came on time as promised. They are very professional and knowledgeable on the job to be perform. they communicte thoughly the proces to be perormed on the task to the customer. they have good customer service, excellent crew, and deliver completed task on timely manner. Reasonable pricing, very afforable. I'm very happy to recommend SVH Landscaping Services to other customer. I will employ this company again in a future job. Saul and his team have done excellent work for us laying a stone pathway, planting new plants and moving existing ones, and adjusting and adding irrigation lines. They've also done regular maintenance with a quality well above previous landscape maintenance services we used.
