MathRise Learning Center

We have been thrilled with the tutoring at MathRise. We reviewed a lot of different options and decided on them and it has been a wonderful experience. Everyone is helpful, pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. We were so impressed with our daughters improvement in her reading and writing that we added in math just to give her a heads up in her future studies.

My daughter has been attending MathRise Learning Center in Glendale, AZ since Oct 2013 and I am very impressed with the whole experience. I recently moved to Phoenix and was bit worried about my daughter study. I knew my daughter needed help because of different methodology and syllabus, thanks to Mathrise for providing a platform to overcome difficulty. Currently, she is doing two programs at MathRise; reading/writing and math. I see lot of progress and confidence in her, especially on math work. I really thank the staff of the Mathrise for creating and providing such wonderful learning environment. The staff is very good and very proactive with changing tactics to engage my child. I strongly believe it is the perfect investment that is made towards my child study.

So far I've been very impressed with the tutoring here! I thought my daughter was pretty good at math already, but after the free assessment, I realized that their unique tutoring system would benefit her. After all, math and science are going to be the key elements of the future, right? I will come back and update this review once our daughter attends more sessions. MathRise claims their goal is to help make each kid the top math student in their class!

My daughter has been attending MathRise Learning Center in Glendale, AZ since July 2013 and I am very impressed with the whole experience. I was wary about such services because I had heard tutoring was pricey. I knew my daughter needed help because in all honesty, the last two years at her elementary school seemed almost like a waste of class time. She is autistic and while she is higher functioning, she is delayed in certain areas involving reading comprehension. I knew she was doing projects within some integrated classes but getting her to tell me about what she's read or even what she'd done at school on any particular day was sometimes like pulling teeth. I didn't want to make her frustrated or even hate learning, and it was getting to a point where I felt she needed something extra to help her. Currently, she is doing two programs at MathRise; reading/writing and intermediate math. Math isn't as big of an issue but still, getting better at math in general will only add (no pun intended) to her overall sense of accomplishment. I see the improvement, I see her gaining confidence and pride in herself. I am so very proud of all the hard work she's been doing, and her efforts to focus and discipline herself to get the task done. I admire the efforts of the staff to engage and guide her, to educate her and make her use her brain. She's not passively sitting there being lectured, she has to participate and think! She has to get up and answer questions on the board and learn to correct herself when she makes a mistake. The staff is very patient and very proactive with changing tactics to engage a child. They work with a variety of ages, too. I would not hesitate to recommend MathRise to any parent of a child who is struggling with schoolwork and the concepts they need to understand for their future. It is the perfect investment you can make for your child.

Our public school said our kids were doing "GREAT!", but as parents we felt something was missing. Mathrise was the answer. Our children love the staff and look forward to their sessions. We have enrolled in both math and reading. The kids are appropriately challenged and proud of their new knowledge. The increased confidence in their ability to learn quickly shows more and more each week.
