We had Columbia water gardens install an above ground pond 3 years ago. Over a year ago it started to leak I tried to contact Carl to repair the leak I never received a response So after searching and putting in requests I found desert springs. Jon brought my pond back to life after finding many problems with the original build. He thoroughly and carefully repaired leaks and altered the water flow and circulation. He always explained what was needed and why. We had the entire pond resurfaced a new pump and changes to the water flow. The crew were alway respectful and cleaned up any messes created the final outcome is wonderful. I’m very happy with the current pond my fish are especially happy.

Our landscape designer passed away this year. I started calling companies who did water leakage when our pond developed a problem. My success rate was not good as one came out but never followed up on the promised estimate, others were not interested in a small pond, and one wanted $450 to walk through the garden gate. By chance I got Jon Hansen’s phone number on a referral. Jon followed up when he said he would, and he arrived at the appointment time. First, Jon sat with me and wanted to hear our concerns and issues. He asked me to give him 20 minutes to look over the pond and it’s mechanics. Jon reviewed with us his recommendations and explained how they would address our issues. He had everything he needed in his truck and was done in an hour. It is now 10 days later and the pond is functioning better than ever. Thank you, Jon. We are so happy with the work that you did.

I had a really bad experience with a couple of other pond and waterfall builders. I was designing and installing my dream backyard which included a waterfall and pond. I was purchasing flagstone and other materials from a well known Santa Monica supplier and was talking with the manager about my bad experiences with pond and waterfall builders and he recommended Desert Springs. I spoke with Jon and his father on the phone and we scheduled an appointment. Jon arrived on the day and time we had discussed. He arrived in an impressive service vehicle and discussed options for my project. He ordered all the necessary materials and equipment and fully explained the timetable and pricing. He and his team completed my project and I couldn’t be happier with my new pond. He told me he would follow up after a month to check on the project and go over the filtration system backwashing. Jon added different types of aquatic plants and gave me recommendations for fish. The lighting he incorporated in my pond created the finishing touch. I cannot thank Jon and his team enough for making my dream a reality.
