I took my 2004 Nissan Xterra in for a simple oil change and lube job. Mind you, this vehicle only has 53,000 original miles on it. Nathan told me that it would only be a few hours and most likely cost less than a hundred dollars. I contacted them a few hours later and was told that I would need a new power steering pump because the fluid reservoir was empty when they checked it. I did not understand how that was because I had checked that just a few days prior. The pump never made any noise and the car turned a little rough anyway, it always did. It was recommended that I do a complete tune-up also. Three days later I was told the car was ready. I went to pick it up and Nathan told me that I would need to replace the rack and pinion gears but it would be alright to drive until they installed their alignment gear. After paying almost 2000 dollars for all the stuff that was performed on this car, I started it up and the new pump that was installed, made a racket just like a bad pump would make. The car steered okay but the "service engine light” was on. I asked Nathan why the light was on because I never had that issue before. He checked the code system and two codes came up. One was a catalytic converter code and one was a Nox sensor code. How all this came about, I do not know. Nathan told me to drive the car for a few days to see if the new pump would help the steering. He turned the code light off at that time. I drove the car for a couple of days and the service engine light came back on. I was a bit upset that this was happening after I took it to Cien Motor Sports. I was on the freeway when the car motor stopped and started. I finally pulled it over, luckily, hopefully in time. The motor was hot and the antifreeze had blown all over the engine compartment. I had to have the car towed to a service station. I did not want to go back to Cien Motors at this point. The garage that I had it towed to, inspected it and found the pulley to the power steering pump had come off and was stripped. The nut that was supposed to hold that on to the pump was gone, the pulley had finally slipped off the pump stem and that is what cause the car to stop and overheat. I had to replace the pump, the pulley and the nut which cost me around 900 dollars. I was given the pump that Cien Motor Sports replaced along with the pulley and took it back to Nathan. He had me call the owner and I was told to leave the ruined parts for him to look at. Four days later, Nathan called and told me they would reimburse me for the part and labor but they could not reimburse me for the other garage to fix the problem. I had to accept the Cien Motor deal. Long story short, I took a good running, low mileage vehicle in for a simple oil and lube job and wound up paying 1980 dollars to have my mode of transportation almost destroyed and possibly having a very bad accident on the road due to negligence of Cien Motor Sports. I am now into another 2000 dollars trying to fix my vehicle and still am not sure if it will be restored to its original reliance. My trust in Cien Motor Sports and Nathan has been completely destroyed and I will never recommend this company to anyone I know.
