Great fun academy salon. Light bright airy and filled with a happy positive gibe. Lauren did a fabulous job on my tired do. The staff and owner are top of the heap. They truly care for the students and take time to show and explain techniques and their praise is bountiful. I will be back!!

You know when you take a chance on a place and cross your fingers? Well, I WON THE LOTTERY when I went to Social Citizen Academy for a brand-new look! Alysha is a fantabulously talented artist when it comes to hair, and I'll definitely be going back to her. Do NOT hesitate to book an appointment because Social Citizen is a beauty school. Trust me...it is a top notch institution, and the instructors are right there EVERY step of the way! I knew I was in good hands the entire time. Bonus: When I walked in, I knew I was in an awesome place! It's super modern, full of upbeat stylists and instructors, and enough energy to keep you going no matter what process you're sitting through! Alysha patiently colored my grays and made me look 10 years younger by the time I walked out the door. She's super talented, and I'll definitely follow her when she lands her next salon gig. Plus, I've already booked my next appointment with her because I know as soon as people start finding out about this place, it's going to be booked solid! Open and airy with plenty of seating, cold water for clients, and top-tier products I'm already in love...this is THE oasis in the middle of the desert. Go. There. Final note: The owner/instructor walked around, introduced himself, and made sure clients were comfortable and happy. Just a super friendly, professional place. I'm ready for my next hairdo!
