We visited this place on a sunny day after a full week of rains, so the place looked bright and lush green with creeks flowing with full water. We enjoyed the Ozark greenery although it was a short trip (4mi) than usual. The captain was very much aware of the history of the station and the the train. He explained everything clearly and made the slow moving (5mph) locomotive a memorable journey. Because of the heavy rains and floods in the area, the kids were given chance to crush coins at the station instead in the middle of woods.
