I wish more people would acknowledge just how much this department does for our beat up little town. Anytime there is a snow or rain storm they are immediately out clearing, cutting or prepping for the next weather issue.
Not to mention i see them emptying the public trash cans every morning and checking them constantly on the busy weekend.

The woman responsible for billing is one of the rudest and most condescending people I have ever had the displeasure of talking to. She loves to have your water turned off on a whim too, with no warning call or text beforehand. It is very easy to miss a payment to them, because their antiquated website boots payments occasionally or isn't updated with your current bill until just a few days before it's due. She has had our water shut off even after we had paid our bill, admitted it was her mistake, and then threatened us with a huge fine if we manually turned it back on ourselves. I'd like to say, take your business elsewhere, but since this is a forced monopoly, please consider moving anywhere but this hellscape of a town. Every service here in Eureka Springs is about this bad and mismanaged. Good luck to you if you do already live here, you'll need it.
