For some reason they keep calling and showing up to my house in the middle of the day looking and asking for my 11 year old. After ringing the doorbell and waking my infant child from her nap, they continued trying to talk over my daughter crying to get me to buy insurance from them. Not impressed.

I was employed by this agency and feel like my experience was the worst experience in 15 years. At 1st the hiring process was horrendous as it seem like a MLM Scam. However, this is a Insurance Company that recruits heavily as the turn over rate here is by far the worst I have experience in the 6 months I was here. My manager was Luciano Rapa. I was hired by responding to one of his Facebook pages that represented itself at a Recruiting Company. The page was a front as the business doesn’t exist. It’s not a registered company just a pony Facebook page to post jobs. I was considered a “Personal Recruit†so I could count for a contest he was part of. All his recruits came from this page and he falsely claims them as Personal Recruits. He said he made $250 per claim. I lost respect and credibility in this Manager for being a Cheater and Liar. I saw two managers leave, one due to a personal matter, he was a great producer and mentor, and the other due to not making any money and was tired of all the BS that went on at this office while I was here. Also an office shut down that was fairly new due to other managers and even the RGA Steve not helping support its growth. Roy and Luciano have been employed here 2 years and have 0 Agents over 1 year or 6 months. That is a red flag. They cannot produce ALP (Insurance Premiums/Accounts) at a high level. Nor keep anyone yet train them at a Professional and effective manner. Everyone did training their own way. Some days we left early as we struggled to get appointments and they would just call it a day and lie to Steve. Mediocre Managers. I was given a account I didn’t even sell just so I can count as a “Codeâ€. Steve, the SGA, is the worst leader as literally told my manager and other managers we had to get coded by the end of the 2nd week of training. We had to falsely place this account under my name and it made me very uncomfortable. Roy did the same thing. The only one I respected was Clayton and David while I was here. But Luciano didn’t allow me to be mentor by them. Which didn’t make sense as they were and are the top producers, recruiters, etc. I wish everyone the best and hope this helps. Working here was not ethical for me.

About
American Income Life: Richard Correa
About Steve SvendsonAfter studying business management at the University of Phoenix, Steve had a good background for many professions. He decided on the food-service industry and became a restaurant manager. But restaurant management can be difficult and time-consuming under the best of circumstances. Eventually, Steve decided to move in a different direction and joined American Income Life Insurance Company (AIL) in 2011.It was the opportunity to control my own income that attracted Steve to AIL, and its an opportunity that has paid off. But the most rewarding aspect of his association with American Income Life is not the income. Its the people I work with, says Steve. Its the drive to succeed and the opportunity for growth. One of my greatest accomplishments with American Income Life is being involved in opening three AIL offices in Fort Collins, Amarillo, and Arlington. If I could start over with AIL, I would do only one thing differently. Id be more accountable to my State General Agent and hold my own Agents more accountable. What advice does Steve offer those considering an American Income Life career? You can have a lasting, impactful career with AIL if you are coachable, have a strong work ethic, and work with integrity.Steve appreciates the value AIL products have in his community. We protect families financially. They are able to honor their loved one, keep their homes, and allow their children to maintain their lifestyle, he emphasizes. Child advocacy is important to Steves Agency, and it frequently hosts child safe events in the local community. When not working, Steve relaxes by watching movies and spending time with family and friends. Hes also a sports fan and enjoys exotic cars and travel.
