Los Agaves

We walked in at 9:30pm because it said they closed at 11:00pm. Walking in we didn't get greeted we just stood there staring at the cashier. Then my husband asked what time they closed and she quickly stated at 10:00. So we just let them know we would go elsewhere but the manager/owner? Said it was no problem if we stayed. And we did. But we regretted staying. The chips and salsa alone said it all. Chips seemed old, stale. The salsa! Nasty!. It tasted like tomato sauce from a can with a little of cilantro added. We ordered fajitas for two. Fajitas weren't THAT bad (taste). But was hard to chew and cold. The "guacamole" was really salty. The beans tasted horrible. My daughtes dish was the worst. I ordered her a beef enchilada with rice and beans. The beef was SUPER salty with too much cheese on top. I wouldn't even give that to my dog. All she ate was her rice. The waitress was nice and quick. I disliked how they had other workers just stand and watch us eat and whisper about us when I could clearly see them. Made us feel very uncomfortable.I would not recommend to anyone unless you like people staring and talking about you and if you LOVE salty food.

I travel in Texarkana all the time and this is my all time favorite restaurant there. Nice atmosphere , friendly service and the food is terrific.

Again, way overpriced. Not at all authentic....food was like sauce poured over dirt. Disgusting! Texarkana has no concept of Latino cuisine.

Stopped in & loved it! Great atmosphere, wonderful service & awesome food! Quesadilla Rellena, shrimp taco salad & taquitos mexicanos. Definitely will be coming back!
