We came to Tahoe for my brothers wedding & wanted to take our family on a fun horseback riding experience. We found this place & it was everything we expected! We have 4 kiddos under the age of 13 so this was a perfect trail, loving horses, fantastic, knowledgeable staff. Definitely recommend this place!!! Oh ya, the most beautiful drive from South Lake Tahoe, we’ll worth the distance!

Love this place! This is the second time we’ve been here and we had Ashley as our guide again. We went on a 2 hour private ride and she happily chatted to our 10 year old the entire time we were riding. We’re a combination of novice and experienced riders and we all felt very comfortable with our horses. Ashley happily stopped every few minutes to wait for the slower horses to catch up. She pointed out all kinds of fun things and took group photos for us. She was amazing and we can’t wait to come back next year!

I went with 3 friends and it was my first time riding. I did let them know that and one of my friends let them know it had been a while for her. The guide was really sweet and I'm sorry I don't remember her name because she was great and patient. We walked for only about 1 or 2 minutes before we stopped to go over rules and my horse was kicking my friends horse a little because it was too close. This made my friend uncomfortable and to be honest myself as well. She asked if I would say something so I did. The guide was understanding and tried to call several times to get someone to come help being her back. I didn't want to leave her alone so I decided to stay back as well. Since nobody would answer the calls we had to all walk back and that's where things got bad. Instantly we were glared at by employees and one of the ladies started yelling saying we messed up big time and this was going to ruin the routine of the horses. A gentleman employee joined in yelling at us as wll. I totally understand that the horses have a routine and I feel bad ruining that but if anyone feels uncomfortable you shouldn't yell at them or expect them to do it anyways. We didn't even ask for our money back because we knew we messed up and not them but we were surprised to be yelled at and made fun of as we are customer service employees who would never treat a guest like that. The only reason it's 2 stars and not 1 is because the guide was nice and my 2 friends who did go on the walk had a really good time.
