Arrived at Tire Shop at 5:12pm. with a nail on my rear tire which my sensor warning that I was loosing air.(approximately a 10 min. Job).
A Service Tech. informed to Leave, because they were ‘Close’, already. I asked him what time did they close, he said:”5:30pm.”.
I looked at the time and it was now5:16pm. He; Richard, started that they always close at least 15 min. early so they can go home at 5:30pm.(with a Smirk on his face, like he was making fun of my unlucky situation.)
Then he: Richard, told me to drive somewhere else, which I explained to him that I didn’t feel safe driving since I might loose the tire air and be stranded on the road, And if they’ll help me, I will give him a good Tip.
He refused.
I then asked him if I could speak to a Manager, he said that he was the Manager. I ask him if I can have a business card(I wanted to know if the business was a Franchise and if there was a corporate office), he refuse to give him card. I wanted to know the Owner’s name and he told me. As I was writing it down, he; Richard, added;
“Btw, the Owner is my Dad”.
Thankfully his assistant: Abel. walking by and asked me:”how can I help you, Sir?”.
Thanks to his assistant, I was my way to resume my journey.
Owner: please at least enroll your son in Customer Service Skills class, the city of Arvin would really appreciate not to have to go to another city to for help.
