Kinda bummed about this place. I'm local and it's been an enjoyable spot to stop at and get snacks or smoothies with my kid. Especially in the off season. The last couple times have been disappointing as there has been a notable decline in the food. Last I went the blender was broken and they were out of a tone of their smoothie bowl bases. Okay fine. That happens. But I also ordered tacos which I get often. I noticed the shells have changed to something that's clearly more affordable for the kitchen as a whole to provide (not nearly as quality as the old ones) and the meat in my tacos was scarce. I mean, no meat in some of the bites. All cabbage and tomato. BUT the tacos are the same price... so it kinda feels like, "because we can" we will situation. I understand it's a tourist location but dang. Good food in Avila is limited and this place was above the mark. Bummer that it's kinda turning into another over priced less than satisfying place as Avila is full of those... I've spent time defending this place to other locals lol so I'm kinda sad about it. Hopefully the quality can make a come back.
