EDIT at the end of review! We stay at this Fairfield all the time. The staff is wonderful!!! The king suite is nice and roomy. Only room you cant hear the doors slam shut from inside. Comfy mattress and clean rooms. The pool is awesome during the summer and the fire side tables are nice during the cool evenings of fall. Breakfast is okay, Im just limited on what I can eat. My favorite item is the mini quiche bites. No rifraf and druggies about the property. We like to stay third floor on the south pool side. The sunrise was badass! Edit. We havent stayed there since last summer. It was disappointing. The room was dirty. There was an unpleasant scent and the rooms are noisy. Anytime a door is opened you can hear it slam shut. A lot of construction workers use this as a work hotel. Which is a new addition. Not a problem if you dont mind sharing the pool with a dozen or more dudes drinking beer for 6 hours IN the pool. Literally waited to see if they wore themselves out so my kids could go down and enjoy the pool. Nope they were in there 6 hours and didnt see one of them fellas leave to empty the beer from their bladders into a toilet! Ya I sat there and watched and read my book. My kids watched a movie and we ordered pizza. Only cost me 170 to watch a bunch of beer guzzlers man spread in the pool all day. I tried to get my money back in the first hour but I was told no as we had been in the room too long. I explained we just came over for the pool and was told oh they are really nice guys and drinking is allowed in the pool. So if you dont mind that go ahead. I dont mind men and I appreciate their hard work but the last time we went to this pool and it was taken over by work crew, I was asked where they could find some strippers while looking at me and my daughter. It was really gross. I guess once bitten twice shy.
