Church's Chicken

Never got our order, waited 10 min. In drive thru so we left. Never will go again. :'(

My family was there just tonight.. I can say that I was not completely surprised at what I found. When my family and I walked into the place there was 1 table that had customers, we were greeted right away, which was pleasant. When my wife and I looked at the place we both decided not to order the chicken, it was precooked and setting in an open bin, no times so we didn't know when it was cooked. We both decided on the chicken tenders, and we noticed there was no kids menu at all. The 2 dinners we ordered were about $14.00, but then we had to ask for information on kids meals, and the young lady that had taken our order had already left the station for something in the back that had gotten her attention. The drive thru person came over and acted as if we were bothering her and she had to look up the information on the kids meals from the computer screen. She promptly took the order and when I asked if there was any milk for our 2 year old, she just told me "No, we only have the sodas here". So we took our drink cups, and proceeded to the soda machine at the end of the counter, which was out of ice, and looked dirty. We all filled our drink cups, and I will say that at least the sodas coming out of the machine were cold. There were only 2 lids on the drink station, so I made sure that my wife and daughter got the lids. We then went to the dining room, which we had to take a couple of minutes to find a clean table, it looked as if no one had been cleaning in the dining room for a bit. We got our order pretty quickly, just chicken tenders for the whole family really and some fries, so kudos for getting that out pretty quickly. We ate the food, and noted there were several lights out on the dining room, and you could see the water damage on the ceiling from leaks. Most of the booths around us were dirty. And the music coming from the kitchen area was not family friendly, as I heard more then a few of the "S" bombs coming from the area. As my family and I ate, we noted that the entire crew pretty much disappeared from view, no one coming out into the dining room, and yet there was no one getting food from the place. As we ate, we did agree that the food was hot and pretty good for what we had expected to get. I would have hoped for more, as my family and I really do enjoy going out to eat and normally it's chicken on our menu.. but from what I saw of the chicken and the way the crew appeared to not care about the place, it's a safe bet that we won't really be considering eating here again. I hope the management reads this review and takes to heart that what I saw in the place and the lack of a family atmosphere makes it very hard for my family and I to return.
