Smashed Burbank

My husband and I ate there Sunday afternoon. We were really looking forward to returning and enjoying their food. My husband had to explain 4 times that he wanted a Smashed cheeseburger with just ketchup, pickle, mustard, raw onions and to not toast the bun. Ordering was a very frustrating experience for him and added negatively to what we expected as a very enjoyable lunch. I had ordered a combination chocolate n strawberry shake which had very little chocolate. Definitely not the quality I had enjoyed on my 1st visit. And even after my husband explained 4 times not to toast the bun, we both were frustrated when his cheeseburgers came with toasted buns. He returned the burgers and they were finally made accurately. This was not an enjoyable lunch experience for me or my husband.

Absolutely love the food here. My girlfriend & I frequent this place anytime we're near the area. My team and I always go here after an event. Lady at the register is not very personable and looks very unhappy to be working there, lol, but that is the only negative thing I have to say. Other than that, place is always clean, and food is always amazing.

I grabbed a veggie burger here after a movie one night. It was pretty good. It had good flavor and was cooked well. The price was fair but it did feel slightly lacking for the price. Yes it's a smash burger but it was very thin in comparison to the bun ratio. Not a big deal but I'd probably recommend the double. The homemade sauce was good. Worker was really nice and helpful. Took my order to go but the inside was cool.

People saying this burger is better than in&out are off their rocker. This place was not even mediocre. The burger was so over cooked it was like the scrappings off the bottom of the skillet hard crunchy, not even a pinch of salt on the burger, I had the jalapeo monster, I don't know where the monster went. But I had a double and still just tasted bread and cheese. So to even taste a burger in this place you gotta get a triple or a 4by4 which they bit off in&out with that name. Fries were fried too hard. I went yesterday evening. I'm so upset cause we traveled specially to that place to try that burger. Keith Lee this was the worse burger I ever had. But then maybe they made him a special non extra crispy smashed thin burger.
