Hubba Hubba

The owner is a rude, pushy, and abrasive. From the moment I walked in she had endless rude remarks towards my friend and I. So much so we couldn't even look at the selection to the extent we wanted to. Her attitude was that bad. Plus, the whole place stunk of cigarettes. Poor vintage clothes stuck in that hell. A shame because her selection seemed rather interesting. I'd suggest skipping this shop and moving on to the next. Plenty of other shops in the area with nice proprietors.

LOVE this shop. Over all, items are reasonably priced and the selection is great, especially for women who have a full figure. Lot's of great vintage clothing and hats for men as well. This is a much better place for the pocketbook than those vintage clothing and antique shows that come to town, not to mention some of the other places that think vintage means expensive. We shop vintage A LOT and this is a store we always come back to.

Finally made it out to Hubba Hubba today with my daughter, who's been dying to go. Its a cute little place ( very little) , well organized, good quality decently curated & priced merchandise. It smelled like the proprietor, an eclectic, aggressive older woman with "Betsy Johnson" pigtails, had been smoking in the store. She's a TALKER - it's CONSTANT!! I could see her being offputting to some (she even admitted it) but we weren't bothered. My daughter tried on some thngs ended up purchasing the cutest sweater. I was interested in the jewelry - found a very cool bracelet that I wanted to purchase but didn't. The bracelet was marked $25, however, the proprieter (at the time of sale) decided she couldn't "let it go" at that price, removed the tag and raised the price to $40! Unbelievable!!!! For that reason we will NEVER patronize her shop again.
