Divorce is one of the worst and unfortunate event that can happen to any body. when anybody goes through this emotional and uncertain event, we need someone that can tell you everything you need to know. It is my experience to learn the good, bad and ugly part of the divorce. I am extremely happy that I had someone like Laurie on my side to guide me through this difficult time. She represent me with the highest degree of integrity and fight for me to stage my case to a successful ending. I highly recommend Laurie to be on your side during this difficult divorce time. You will appreciate her hard work and calm personality.

Ms. Peters was the answer to my prayers at a time when my options appeared limited, and the likelihood of a satisfactory resolution seemed almost impossible. My family and I are eternally grateful for her service. I recommend Ms. Peters without reservation.

I would gladly provide zero rating for this individual (but not an option, so had to select one star; she's far from that, so please read on) as she has completely failed to represent our child.  She has been tasked with providing counsel for a little girl of only 6 yrs. old and visibly appears to be more interested in being "friends" (ahem...) with the father than knowing who and what is happening with her client, THE CHILD.  In last 2 years she has spoken to her client TWICE, although the court has requested she "get to know her client".  I'm fairly certain this is not representative of getting to know your client.  She is a poor excuse for an attorney and more importantly, as minors counsel.  If you are requesting minors counsel in Ventura County know that this person will not be considering what is in the best interests of your child.  She will not be considering if your child is safe from sexual molesters living in the father's home, free from neglect from the father, free from a long history of drug & alcohol abuse by the father, free from being cared for by a sexual molester in the father's home --she does not care about your child.  I'm disgusted by this attorney and you should be and will be too.  She is abrasive and unprofessional in her communications either by email or in person, and her bias is blatantly visible when she does not like the other parent.  As I understand it, it is not the parent's for whom she is responsible to/for, it is the child.  Beware, this is NOT the person you want "defending" your child.  I wouldn't want this person "defending" my dog.

Mrs. Peters has been a real blessing during such a stressful anxiety ridden stage in my life. I had two previous attorneys that cant hold a candle to Laurie and her abilities. I was referred by a friend, who had another friend rave about Laurie, so I took a third shot at representation and Im so glad I did. I was very jaded with the courts and specifically my counsel. I came in very skeptical and she went to work and changed my outlook. On a personal level her concern, respect, morality and genuine nature has been a huge breath of fresh air. On a professional level she truly upholds her oath to zealously represent her client. Effective, honest, extremely well versed in her legal field, confident, responsive, and her openness to discussion are a testament to her professionalism.
