WOW! So I visited Maryana at SD Hair Extensions Studio after doing a lottt of research and could not be happier that I did! This salon is the real deal!!! I've had every hair color under the sun and various types of extensions from different stylists but this is by far the best color and extensions I've ever had and the whole experience from beginning to end was very pleasant and enjoyable. The ladies working here are so, so sweet and genuinely care about you and your hair and want you to be happy! Like I said, I've had multiple types of extensions before from clip-in to sew-in, but the clip-ins were annoying because they took so long to put in and take out and usually ended up falling out anyways and the sew-in wefts just felt way too bulky and heavy and really limited my ability to wear my hair up and feel comfortable working out (which is extremely important to me and a huge downside that caused me to take them out). Both methods also made me concerned about hair damage/loss.I can say now having tried the keratin micro fusion method, it is definitely the way to go! Attaching lots of small and light bundles of gorgeous extension hair to your natural hair, they achieve a much lighter feel and more natural look than just one chunky weft. I can easily put my hair up in the highest ponytail/bun without any pulling/discomfort or the extensions or keratin bonds showing AT ALL. Night and day from what I had before. Not only are the extensions amazing, but my color transformation was beautiful too! I came in with medium length brown hair with caramel highlights and left with the most beautiful sandy blonde, super long hair (see photos for before and after). Maryana saw my inspo picture and brought my dream to life while still respecting the integrity of my hair and avoiding damage to it. If you're considering extensions, I highly recommend SD Hair Extensions. Take it from someone who's tried it all - they really know what they are doing and will not let you down! I'm so, so happy with my hair and you will be too :)P.S. The absolute BEST hair extensions!   The quality of hair is superior. The installation, I get K-tips, are flawless.  I've worn extensions for years and I can say, without any hesitation, this place is the second to none.  You will NOT be disappointed.

Out of nowhere I decided to get hair extensions. My hair always have been long. Last year I cut it too short. So i wants to give it a try.
When I googled Best hair extensions near me this place popped up. I called to make an appt. And bam! I went in, I was educated about hair extensions, and the post care. I got them the same day. It took about 4 hrs for 125 gr of hair. OMG! The look is amazing Irina (I think thats her name) was very professional and knowledgeable. 10 for this place

Julia does a great job! She is attentive, listens to your needs, she is fast and very efficient! She did an amazing job with my keratin extensions!

There is only one place to come if you are interested in getting extensions...San Diego Hair Extensions Studio.
My first visit here was Oct 2021 when I was looking for extensions going into the holiday season. Who doesn't want to have luscious long flowing curls, well that was the goal and starting with my initial phone call all the way up to the day of my service, I received nothing but excellence.
If you are new to extensions, here was on super important hair concern for me.. What exactly will you attach to my hair? Is it glue and is that really different from keratin bonding? What will happen when we remove it will my hair be thin and fall out when they fall out from the bonding site? Their response is exactly why I came here: "we use a Keratin tip that will not damage hair quality". Prior to coming here, I had received extensions from another salon here in San Diego, that experience needless to say was so sub par compared to here to include they did not put the pieces in correctly and when they switched to the I-Tip's those were coming out just a month into the placement. This taught me to always research a place that does have extensive knowledge in hair quality and care- SD Hair Extensions Studio does have the cutting edge knowledge.
Just like most of my hair appointments, they are never quick but the time did pass quickly. Listening to GOOD music and small conversations, before I knew it, my appointment was over.
My hair not only looked so beautiful it was absolutely natural in appearance. The normal length of my natural hair is long (past my shoulders but not by too much). We placed 22-in extensions and let me tell you how different it looked and really made me fell. It was instant super model status! My hair was much fuller in volume and length.
Living an active lifestyle and having beautiful hair can be a challenge at times. One concern I had was if there would be damage to my natural hair if I am constantly pulling it back in bun or ponytail. Would the extensions slip out- pull out my hair? Would I even be able to pull it back and not hurt my scalp (remember I had a bad experience before...). All these were put to rest with in first few days of living my normal day to day life. There were no issues at all with pulling my hair back tightly or twisting it around and not pulling on my scalp. There also were no issues at all with brushing it and never having tangles above the extension site. For the first time I have super long hair and can do every single activity without concerns.
Let's now jump forward to Jan 2023 as I have coming back religiously since my first appointment. There are not enough raves that I can shout out here. I consistently get the best quality of customer service. When I have needed to be squeezed in due to life time events (all of a sudden everyone is either having a baby shower or getting engaged). Every single employee has been warm and welcoming with out question. Smiles greet you as you walk in and it is always a positively happy environment.
Upon each of my visits I am always greeted with Lana's warm, caring and heartfelt conversation until Julia greets me. A lit chit chat and Julia gets right to the hard work. Before you know it we are at the styling part of my appointment and booking my follow up!
It was mentioned before and I will say it again, I could not speak highly enough of this salon. Everyone is amazing at what they do and knowledgeable in the process. You will definitely feel comfortable while in your appointment and have an absolutely super star hair status before you step out.
