This quality and customer service has gone down since I last ordered in 2020.
I wanted to have some birthday flowers delivered Christmas Eve and wanted to rely on El Camino Floral Design Studio to recreate the magical service they provided me last time I ordered. The recipient's real birthday was on Christmas Day, but no one would be open. I decided a day early would be sufficient to provide fresh flowers that would last until their birthday. The website allowed for a Saturday, December 24th delivery date so I was quite pleased.
Unfortunately, the flowers were delivered December 22nd. Two days earlier than expected. There was no communication that the florist would be delivering early. The flowers sat outside for an unknown period of time. By the time the recipient noticed some flowers outside, it was already the evening.
The quality of flowers were also very poor. Most of the purple roses were 75% bloomed and the white roses were discolored. They were supposed to be the highlight of the entire bouquet and yet, they weren't. Most of the filler within the vase was all Christmas related greenery. Lots of pine and shrubbery. Some of the pine branches had a white snow Christmas spray on them. Leftovers from another arrangement.
When I contacted the florist the next day (the 23rd), the person on the phone was very dismissive and distracted. I could tell she was driving as there were doors being slammed in the background. She told me they weren't open on Christmas Eve, which is why they delivered early. If that is the case, please make sure your website aligns with your closures! It was very misleading to accept my payment for a delivery date that was not what I agreed upon as well as provide poor quality flowers.
I explained to her how unsatisfied I was with the customer service and lack of communication and the poor quality flowers. All she mentioned was she was "on it." Didn't really lead to how she would help the situation. So I requested some sort of refund, to which she replied "I can give you a 25% credit of the order." All I had to do was provide pictures of the flowers and that was the end of the phone call.
I provided pictures promptly and she replied that the flowers were still not bloomed and they were still using the same flowers in their studio. She explicitly said, "If your recipient return our flowers to our studio we will be more than happy to give you back full refund." This was someone's birthday gift! How is it appropriate to take away someone's birthday gift in order to get a refund? That is not only rude but absurd.
I communicated back my uninterest to take away a birthday gift just for a full refund, so I requested the florist to provide a 25% refund as she mentioned on the phone and let us be done with this situation. She has yet to reply and it has been five days. Good to know that this organization also does not keep their word.
If you are considering to use this florist, please reconsider. They were a good company back in 2020, but I suppose the pandemic has made certain people cut corners for their businesses. I implore you to never consider buying flowers from this florist. I don't even want my money back anymore since it has already been a hassle trying to communicate my dissatisfaction. I wish I could give no stars. I am highly disappointed.

This company is horrible. The flowers, and the owner. They deserve zero stars. They took full advantage of a college kid. He paid $120 for weeds. Its ridiculous. The owner told me to support her competitors so I would suggest that for you as well!!!!!!!!!!!

When an 18 year old boy orders flowers for his girlfriend from college expecting for her to get this! All was asked is to make it right  and she refused to. Do not use this florist!!

a young college kid paid $120 for weeds. they were not delivered when scheduled, had the wrong name and were nothing like the picture. when I contacted the owner she was horrid. she told me to support her competitors. She a horrible crook!
