The worst I'm going back with chase or bank of America. First if you're making a dispute you have to waste an hour of your time at that bank, you can't make it online at your convenience time. Second, they're pulled out that drive up atm machine...show me a bank that doesn't have a drive up ATM machine in the usa its ridiculous. The world is getting in advance, but that bank is going back to the old days! I don't recommend it! I wish chase or bank of America were open in this area!

Normally this is my Go To Branch. They have their Act together, normally. I first checked online to see if they will be open after 4 PM to deposit my paycheck. Online says Yes! Reality is at 4:30 when I rolled up was Light were off and closed until the 18th of December. No explanation, no reason given. Bad form Mechanics Bank. Service and Location availability has been going down hill. Sad.

Great, friendly service. Glad there's a branch in Corning. Much closer than driving to Chico.

Firstly, let me say that I love this bank and have never had poor service either over the phone or in person until today. Today I called about a very simple request regarding my bank account and was told I would either need to give my account number or my social security number to complete the request. I replied that I could give my debit card number or the last four numbers of my social but refused to give the number in full over the phone. The bank employee "Monica", replied she would need the full social number and could not use the debit card number. I located my account number that wasn't on hand and gave her the number. On the phone, I overheard her talking with another employee about completing another assignment not related to my call, and afterwards I heard her sigh and felt as though I was wasting her time or something. After giving her the checking account number she said she couldn't find it and asked again for the full social security number. I felt frustrated and less than important as a customer for at least ten years now. I could go on and on about the wonderful customer service this bank and its employees provide and have provided me in the past but sadly this experience was not included. After calling back I talked to another employee that told me it would be preferred if I could give her my debit card number, as the task I was trying to complete required such. The employee was able to complete the task and redeem her fellow employee in no time. Thank you guys for always making me feel welcome and even remembering my name when I come into the branch. You are appreciated.
