Came here for swim class with my baby once and once only because they were holding swim classes for their youngest class in the 5' water section! I'm 5'5" and I had to stand on my tippy toes and it felt incredibly unsafe to be holding my baby in the water doing swim drills and activity in that deep of water. The swim teacher was shorter than me and had to stand even closer to the edge where it curves up a little. If there was anyone shorter than me the swim class would not have been possible. What a JOKE.Below is my other review posted on the Yelp page for the ocean Ave location but applies to this whole business.Wow, moved over to BSS because we didn't want to get in the water with our older daughter anymore and there's an option here for 2 yr olds to not have a parent in the water at the seahorse level. While it's been convenient for the last few months there has been NO progression at all. They do the same exercises every class or go backwards because it's hard to get the same teacher every class and it seems like no one knows what they're doing. Asking my 2.5 yr old, "okay what do you want to work on today" is not how you should be leading the swim class. Also since these are gym/hotel pools the water is never warm and with 3/4 students in class they're sitting at the edge of the pool most class and you can see all the kids visibly shaking. In addition, we thought it'd be convenient to put our younger 1 yr old in the tadpole swim class at the same time and that was even worse. The teachers were constantly asking us what we wanted to work on with our child, YOU are the swim teacher, you tell us. We should not have to be directing the swim class. My baby was never comfortable in the cold water. The facilities are dingy and dirty, no access to showers/locker rooms, you're changing in pop up changing tents. The other big name swim class is miles and miles better. Warm water since it's a facility used only for swim classes, warm swim deck, plenty of showers, locker rooms, lots of props and fun things for kids to do in the water during swim class and LESS EXPENSIVE. I can't believe how much I was paying at BSS.

The pool is unhygienic. The pool is small. There are other adults in the swimming pool along with your children. We took one class, found it to be a waste of time as a there were a total for children trying to swim in a tiny area. Note that you're gonna pay $51 for registration and an additional $40 for a class. I'm out $90 and frankly wasted my 30 minutes..
