        I  was served old thinly sliced brisket that was dipped in boiling water to rehydrate it.  It was terrible to witness and I thought this must be a mistake and for someone else. When I  got home, I realized that the worst dish I  ever saw prepared was mine.  I was angry with myself for not speaking up in the restaurant!  The other dishes in my order to-go were decent.  But, I learned a lesson that day... Some people will serve you slop if you let them. I can't help but think that anyone that writes a Positive review of this place doesn't know what decent, good food is...

        I don't think the brisket was trimmed properly before cooking... very fatty. Also, the texture of the meat was soggy, apparently from being overcooked. No smoke ring. It came with some unmemorable bbq sauce on it.I also got the jalapeno cheese cornbread. Maybe I'm the weird one, but I like my cornbread to have a crumbly texture. This cornbread was dense, kind of like a brownie. I didn't finish eating it.It was cheap for BBQ, but it's not what I'm looking for.

        We had a Cowboy theme party for my grandson.Texas BBQ from Memes was on point great ribs and Chicken,Mac and Cheese,Potato salad and I'm not a big fan of baked beans but these were really good!Only regret that I didn't have business cards, everyone loved and asked where we got the food!
