Dave & Stacy are proven veterans and excel in the rental & property mgmt business. They jump through hoops to respond promptly and effectively, and went to extra effort in finding the right property for my daughter & me. Dodged a bullet with this Company. After being accepted for a property we were so excited to move into, we declined after dealing with their horrible customer service and rudeness . They are very condescending. They had zero interest in answering basic questions or going out of their way in the slightest to help us with some things in the lease . After reminding Dave the owner that he owes it to his client , his response was I havent made a penny off this property yet. His wife Paula was caught in two lies which we called her out on and all he did was try to make excuses for her .
The receptionist acted like I was crazy when I mentioned the HOA that this home was in saying there is no HOA , this is a house not a condo How do you work at a property management Co and not know that houses can be in an HOA?
When I asked Paula to check with the owners or HOA about trash and sewer because many times its included , she was so rude and acted like she had never heard of such a thing . She tells me the next day that I was in fact correct and it was included . We ran into a painter at the house which I was thankful for because the paint is the chalky primer looking paint that looked 20 years old in person . Was told by Dave after the fact that they would only be doing touch ups . While in the office asking legitimate questions about the lease , some other lady comes out and says give them their deposit back , we have other people interested in the house after we had just signed the lease .
We were told by Dave to let him know because we had until 5 today pay the deposit , yet the ad was taken down before we even told them no.
The whole experience was very strange and upsetting to say the least . We are also landlords and deal with this from the other side and cant imagine treating people this way .
Anyway , very sad to not be moving in now and wasting our credit check money but after reading all these terrible reviews about how tenants are treated with maintenance and deposit issues , we are happy we dodged this bullet !
