Robinsons Taekwondo

I started training at this dojang at the age of 10, soon after I moved to Folsom. I quickly fell in love with sport and had a great time in their classes. The friendly atmosphere and expertise of the staff keep me coming back for more. I found myself wanting to take more and more classes. I am now a 3rd degree black belt and have been an an instructor at this dojang for 3 years. Come give this dojang a try, I promise it will not disappoint!

My grand daughter has been going for almost 1 1/2 yrs and she enjoys the class and the team of instructors. She is very much on he shy/timid side and these classes have helped with her self confidence. I joined almost a year ago and we attend the same classes and other than the bumps and bruises I have to say I enjoy the classes and the instructors. Speaking as a "non favorite" (see other reviews) student and regarding some of the neg comments on this site, while there are more kids than adults in the classes, if you need help or have questions then you need to ask an instructor. In my experience they are always willing to assist. I know this because I need a lot of help and ask for it and receive it willing (The Poomsae routines (forms) are much more difficult to master than they look). Mr. Minasian's is excellent with children young and old and I recommend checking the yelp reviews if you are looking for more information on feedback about his business. I know people in his classes that drive some distance just to be in his classes.

Our family has been a part of this wonderful school for 3 years now. The instructors are amazing, the classes are fun, educational, and great exercise. It has been a enriching experience and our children have grown so much as a result of their membership at this school. We look forward to being a part this this school, along with so many other amazing families, for years to come.

Robinson's Taekwondo is our FAMILY activity that we ALL enjoy. Instructor Ka'ren Minasian has a special gift as I have seen him work with 4-5 year olds, my special education class, as well as instruct my husband and I with more energy and passion for Taekwondo than I would have thought possible. He runs every class with complete control and respect from every member in class. As for our son, the power of a five year old being taught, knowing, understanding, and attempting to live by, the six tenants of Taekwondo which are "courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control, indomitable spirit, and victory " has made a huge difference in the way our son interacts with his peers as well as at home. Lastly,s a woman who leaves Sacramento State University late at night I no longer walk to my car in fear, as I have been taught to feel confident about defending myself if attacked. Lastly, the co-ed Bootcamp that Mr. Minasian runs has been the primary factor in my loosing 50 lbs of baby weight- I am grateful to be back to my old size. Thank you Robinson’s Taekwondo for affecting our lives so wonderfully.
