Gradelink

Gradelink is AWESOME! Best customer service I have had with a company. Very responsive, helpful, and they have a vast library of training resources for their program. If you are looking for a platform that can improve student outcomes, Gradelink is one of the top you should check out!

For the past several years I have done all the technology training for the teachers at our school. We have used several digital gradebook systems: Schoology, Renweb, Gradelink and I have configured them all. And taught teachers how to use them. I generally don't see a difference between them. They all have the same functional capabilities, but the other teachers report hugely different UX. GradeLink they love, which I didn't get for the longest time. It's pretty ugly, and not significantly different from others (although as an admin, I notice it is more reliable than past services, but teachers wouldn't know that.). It turns out the key ingredient is that GradeLink almost never uses symbols. Everything is a word that you click on to to perform a function. Save always says 'Save'. Cancel is 'Cancel'. Assignments are found in the 'Assignments' tab, etc. Teachers, especially older teachers love this. They find the entire system easy to use and we have never had higher compliance on following the technology policy.
