E-LUX Electric Bikes

We have two homes, one in Florida and one in Vermont. In each home, we have a set of e-bikes. In Florida, I have an E-Lux Malibu and my wife, another brand. I liked the E-Lux Malibu so much that I just bought another one for Vermont (Malibu GT model), which is perfect for a state with lots of potentially challenging hills. I am 75 now and not as robust as I was at one time so the extra power that comes with the Malibu GT is much appreciated. Biking up any hills so far (I've only had the bike for three weeks now) has been a snap, although if you want the extra exercise just don't keep the bike like I do, in turbo mode. Beyond its powerful motor, I also appreciate the bike being a step through model, which for most seniors, is important. The pedals are also a bit more forward than you would typically find on a bike. While it's not a recumbent bike by any means, the slightly forward pedal position makes riding the bike extremely comfortable. Before buying a second E-Lux bike, I tried out many other models at three different local stores and there was no other e-bike that I tried that came anywhere close to the comfort and power that I experienced with my new E-Lux bike. The E-Bike was shipped directly to me and took me no more 30 minutes to put it together. There was no need to even look at the directions is was so easy. My only concern with the purchase is that we do not have an E-Lux dealer anyplace in the State. I did speak with the staff at the company and they assured me that if I needed a warranty repair or any other repair they would work with me to fix any problems remotely. So, I realize that we are taking a chance by buying the bike directly from the company. I might add that I have not had to service my three or four year old E-Lux bike in Florida, where there is a dealer quite close by.

My elux newport 2018 i bought new.lots of problems with spokes breaking.5 years bad spokes.the elux shop says that year spokes not to good. Never buy elux ever again.

We have 3 Tahoe's 2 Malibu's and 1 folding. We ride from our house go to the beach ride around and then get lunch round trip 22 miles total time 50 minutes of riding average speed 26 mph.
