I am really glad I only did this for a couple weeks and didn't give all my money. She made fun of my weight just 2 days into my being there. Declaring Ayurvedic practice doesn't work for fat people. It was clear there was no set program. I feel bad for those that go through the program and discovered they've been had. A lot of other students warned me not to do the program. They were there people going through who were on workers comp and rehab. It was their last hope. I left and did training elsewhere. If I could give less stars I would.

If you are looking for a new career in healing, coaching and healing yourself along the way, California Institute of The Healing Arts & Sciences is the place to come. This is such an amazing school with wonderful support and care. I found myself looking forward to our classes which were informative, transformative and conducted in a calm and Zen atmosphere. Carol is very knowledgeable, intelligent, patient and provides her students with all the tools they need to succeed. Thank you for being such a great school and experience in my life!

Correction: Homework for this school was uploaded to a Drop Box through a link the school provided not a Google Drive, while I was in a attendance at this school the majority of my work was lost through this Drop Box. A similar situation existed for other students in the class.

This school is a giant scam. The warning bells went off from the get go. I'd give less stars if I could. In the beginning she started saying disparaging things about fat people and suggested that diabetes is all in one's mind. That was just the first class. When I found out I was taking the same classes as someone who was about to graduate, I asked how the levels worked. She said "We just wing it and it works.". There was no possible way to get my money back. I'm glad I only attended a few classes and made one payment. I feel bad for people that sign up for her future classes. Don't do it. There are better schools out there even online if you just look. I wish I had done more research.

I have been in the Holistic Healing Arts field for over 30 years. I thought for reasons of expanding my knowledge and skill set I should seek some more formal training and obtain a certificate. I paid for the Holistic Health Practitioner Program. After 12 months of a 10 month program I did not receive the training as outlined in the course program description. The information imparted was incomplete and much of the anticipated training was completely nonexistent. There was only one teacher on Saturday (one day a week) teaching for all of the promised courses that never materialized during my enrollment. Each successive Saturday class was a repeat of the class before with little and sometimes no variation of course material. I was not prepared by this school to enter the field as a Holistic Health Practitioner.
