just an amazing experience all around, food and service was amazing, ambiance is incredible, and if you can, stay in a cabin!

We went to restaurant with reservations on time, waited 30 minutes for waiter, 1.5 hours for food. One dish was inedible - raw, everything else was cold. After food arrived no one asked us if it was OK - that tells you a lot. $200 dinners and everything on the menu comes with the same mashed potatoes and stewed vegetables. Seriously. Presentation is like you hear about on a senior cruise ship - mashed potatoes out of a cake decorator, scallops stacked on tall wood skewers. The decor is as tired - carpets threadbare, interior dark and dingy, and paintings from 1970's vegas motel rooms. What a disaster.

We stopped here for food on our Pacific highway 1 road trip on Labor day weekend. This place turned out to be such a delight. It caught our eyes coz it looked so pretty from the outside. And the inside too was very charming with all the wooden furniture. The food here was delicious. We got one lasagna and one relleno and both were super yum! The wines here were also pretty good. Our server was also very friendly and when we requested an alternate seating in the glass room, she quickly arranged for one! Not super busy, but I would recommend getting a reservation if you want preferred seating. They have patios too!

Great experience... Very creative menu, good wine selection. And the service was wonderful. I highly recommend it.
