Rude bookkeeper answers calls, mgr never there, a worker came and dug holes in my yard without letting me know he was there and without a proper work order or a prior PGE inspection of corroded gasoline pipe needing repair. They are the most incompetent and unprofessional outfit it has been my misfortune to reach out for what was potentially an emergency service.

They overcharged us, saying we owed for 1.5 hrs. of work (@$150/hr.) when the plumber who came did no more than 1 hr. of work. He lacked a supply item and had to leave to go back to their shop to retrieve it and came back 20 minutes later. When done, he sat out in our driveway for 10 minutes and didn't leave until my husband walked out and saw him still there (doing what we're unsure). When asked to review the bill, we were told they use "GPS tracking" and charge "portal-to-portal" meaning from the moment their driver leaves the shop until the job is completed, including time to write up job summary, etc. I've never been charged for drive-time to a job by any tradesperson. When asked how they can justify this given the possibility of needing to go get gas, stop for a bathroom break, slow vs. fast drivers on road, etc., got no answer. Not happy with this first experience and judging by other reviews here mentioning over-billing, it seems there's a well-established pattern.

Bailed me out in a semi emergency when I had to replace a water heater. Even though they didn't explicitly work with my appliance insurance, they went out of their way to help me file a claim.

All the Gentleman that work for Rick at Tom's plumbing are really nice and they are very thorough.... including Rick. He is a man of his word which is a rare thing these days.

We've had repeated problems with our well which affected our water pressure in the house for over three years. No one could diagnose, trouble shoot or fix it until we called Tom's Plumbing. Brandon came out not only in two emergency situations when we had no water in the house, he even showed up four hours early for a regular schedule appointment. They had come out before to replace our septic pump and they did a great job and that's before the water pressure issue in the house. I would highly recommend Brandon and Tom's Plumbing. They gave us peace of mind, honest billing (if you want to know what things costs, just ask and they are happy to give you a range of costs so there are no surprises). They are kind, thoughtful and they will get to the bottom of what your house/septic, etc. problem is - thank you!!!! Now, we can take baths and showers without the worry we just lost pressure mid-cleaning and can use other appliances that require water at the same time! The best on the coast!
