Worst dental insurance ever. I had to get a full set of dentures they made them r,wrong, been telling them since day one that they dont fit right. The top ridge in front of lip is suppose to have that indent for under your top lip they made my top dentures straight across kept going in told them they dont fit, one dentist told me to use a finger nail file. They can never keep a dentist in that office that liberty dental insurance send me to in Covina to dental group of California at 1406 N Azusa ave. Never go there all they tell is they can make a new set for $4,200.00 I was going in there every day for them to fix it . They told me to just come in no appointment needed for them to keep adjusting their mess up. Its going on 4 years and still fighting them. At liberty left Gloria a message that they transferred me to its been over a month no return call. Would of been nice to let me know since I have been asking to talk to here that she has been out for a while. As of today is 1/24/22 I was notified when I called liberty to ask why Gloria hasnt returned any of my calls she informed me that she has been out for a while. So now waiting on a supervisor to call me back hopefully I get a call back. My advice stay away from Liberty Dental plan. And stay away from Dental Group of Covina also known as west coast dental.

Stay away! This is a lowest of the low. You get denial of your dental health without any consideration.

Happy with the service rendered by their customer care analyst particularly a certain Liz under Susan . She straightened out the error in my billing complaint. And also provide me with good dental office to go to. Thank you Liz

Impossible to get any meaningful answers on one's coverage from Liberty Dental's customer service reps. You have to go through a pre-authorization process which is lengthy and the service will likely be DENIED. Anthem Blue Cross touts that Liberty Dental will cover a certain dollar maximum per year for ANY dental services, but that is not true. Liberty does not cover full porcelain, Emax or Zirconia crowns, only metal crowns with a porcelain veneer (bulky crowns with exposed metal at the gum line). Most people do not want crowns that are bulky, unnatural looking with metal showing at the gum. The standard of care in dentistry today is Zirconia and Emax, metal crowns are outdated. Blue Cross also touted that implants are covered, but my dental office told me that Liberty will only pay for bridges, not implants.
