        This park is nice enuff. You could see where there was a recent fire that devastated a northwest section of the park but the charred remains were cleaned up very well and very fast. It is an alright place, not scummy and not fancy by any means. It is remote, half way through to the middle of nowhere and the times I was there, (daytime only) it seemed quiet. It is right on the river and the road is the levee and the park is quite a bit below the road. Meaning the entire park is below sea level. The road the leads down into and up out of is very steep approx 10' to15' below the road. Perhaps 6',7' below sea level. Maybe a little more. The one family I know there is a top knotch group of conscientious, talented good people. If the rest of the park is half as good as they are it's gotta be a wonderful place.
