I didn't know what to expect from this outing. But on this trip we saw a great variety of plants and animals on a river that has water up to 10' deep, rapids and pools. Unbelievable! Our tour guides were great hosts for this adventure that included a lovely bike ride along the river to the put-in point, and plenty of instruction and help on the river for us novice kayakers. Take a few hours out of your day to explore a part of LA you've likely never seen before, and learn why it's worth saving/restoring.

Super fun, we rented the 2 person kayaks! I would highly recommend the kayaks. Parent in back and kid in front....it was perfect.
