Closet Factory

I recently had an excellent experience installing a walk in closet, a laundry room, and another closet. From the initial contact with my designer Gloria to the installation the project went smoothly and quickly. And probably due to the expertise of my excellent designer Gloria who was with me every step of the way. To give an example when the installer was here I wanted a small change to the design and wanted Gloria's opinion. I called her and within 30 minutes she was here and we worked it out. That's service above and beyond the call.  I will be using Closet Factory again. For excellent service and ability make sure you request Gloria for your design!

I  just wanted to write you to tell you what a fantastic experience i had with your company.  Our designer, Summer was very knowledgeable and designed the perfect closet for our family.  I will definitely recommend Closet Factory to friends and family.  My husband definitely picked the perfect company for our home.  Thank you again and we look forward to working together again.

A follow up to my post on 3/8/2023 -I received a call the day after I posted my last review from another representative at Closet Factory. Her name was Star and she was very apologetic for the lack of response. She immediately scheduled an appointment for a new installer to come out and take measurements. The solution was to remove the existing organizer and replace it with the correct one. I was very relieved to hear they would make this right and correct the error of installing the incorrect size of drawers. Kevin the installer was great he made sure his measurements were accurate and came back the same week completing the job to my satisfaction. He was very kind, clean and made sure everything worked as it should.  During the process Star provided updates with dates and times throughout ensuring I was updated and satisfied. Overall I am very happy with the outcome just disappointed that it took a Yelp review to gain a response and correction.

While I love my closets and didn't initially have any problems with customer service when they were installed 5 years ago, something must have changed because now the customer service is very poor and disorganized. We needed a repair done so I called. The person who was supposed to call me back was Jay. He never called me back. I called about a dozen times "I'll call you back tomorrow!" "I have to ask the ___ team and then I;ll call you right back!" He would never call back. After several months and about the 20th call, I flat out asked Jay if he even bothers to write down or make a note of when he is supposed to call back. He didn't really have an answer. It's truly not that hard to make a list of all the people you have told you will call back, and then actually do it. I tried to get anyone else to handle this but for some reason they have Jay doing everything. I can understand if he is overworked, but he has never expressed that to us or given any reason why he never follows through on calling back. Now my partner is trying to call them to get a new hallway closet installed. He has called twice, and both times, someone says "We will have Jay call you!" JAY HAS NOT CALLED. Not even once. It's insane how you can have someone this disorganized and forgetful running operations. We will have to go with a different company because neither of us have the energy to keep chasing down Jay.

After posting my review, Closet Factory reached out and asked if they could come out to inspect the work, see the issues, and hopefully resolve my concerns.  Ismael came out a few days later, walked through all the work and listened to my complaints.  He made multiple notes and committed to following up with me ASAP.  We had a complete plan to resolve all of my issues.  I'm happy to report that a week later, an installer came to the house and fixed every single item in the pantry.  Additionally, they even touched up some of the master closet just to make sure it was perfect.  For the garage, we reached a satisfactory conclusion.  Overall, I am very happy with the finished product.  I only wish it had not taken this much effort on my part to get it done but I appreciate their desire to make things right so I am updating my review.Closet Factory LA, you have a great product just need to tighten up the customer service.  Good luck!
