Horrible experience with Coram. It’s been over 1 week I’m trying to get some Information for a 1 day IV. I cannot seem to get an accurate answer. Every person throws it on another person, then they say oh the insurance doesn’t cover it someone should have called you, but NO ONE had informed me. Horrible communication and service!

Coram may be the single worst company my wife and I have ever dealt with...in our lives. This company is responsible for delivering medically prescribed nutritional and related products to clients with special needs, yet it operates as if it were in the used tire business. Amazingly, Coram can't even seem to get recurring monthly orders delivered and billed for correctly. My wife and I are essentially Coram's front line employees' supervisors. And I'm pretty sure Coram hasn't learned that Customer Relationship Management systems exist to help get the job done. If you are not captive to Coram as the sole provider of your particular products, I highly recommend you go elsewhere.

Worked with Sonia. My grandmother needs food delivered from this company. She’s on a feeding tube. We called Sonia over and over again. She kept saying call back in a week, then call back in 3 days, then call back tomorrow. After that she informed me insurance didn’t cover and were told insurance wasn’t going to cover expenses. This is when my grandmother had roughly one day of food left. What choice did we have other than to pay approximately 500$ out of pocket so she could eat! We didn’t have time to call insurance, shop around or ask questions ... this was because Sonia concealed what the problem was. She had to have known, she had the paperwork, she just delayed us. To make matters worse she did not process our payment correctly so AGAIN there is a problem with our order and we have to speak to billing. Things she read back to us that we paid for were never ordered. At this point we call Sonia every day and leave a message and have yet to hear back from the person handling our account. Grandmother still needs to eat. Again her name is Sonia if you have her handling your account get everything itemized in advance and make sure you get everything she says in writing.

I receive regular infusions at AIS (onsite). I prefer this to having someone come to my home. It is easy and convenient. The room is comfortable and clean. The staff and nurses at this facility are excellent! I've used other pharmacies and home health services in the past that had trouble getting authorizations and coordinating supplies. Not so here. I have gotten prompt call backs and courteous responses every time with CVS/Coram. They have been more proactive than others at resolving and coordinating approvals, etc.
