image Stayed there 2 weeks ago and had a bad experience at this hotel. I left an item on the bed and stepped out for an hour or so to grab breakfast outside the hotel. When we came back, said item is missing but I can see that the room has been serviced by housekeeping. I immediately notified the front desk of what happened and all they said was I should be expecting an email. A couple of hours later, we received an email saying "Sorry you left something behind." I think that was off because of course I would've left something in the room given that we were staying 2 more nights at the hotel. Went again to the front desk and was directed to call security and all they told me was that they'd investigate and give me an update before our checkout date which was in 2 days. Never heard anything from them again as of the time I'm writing this review. While I'd like to think that it was unintentional as to what happened to my stuff and to give the benefit of the doubt to their workers (maybe it was taken together with the used beddings), the inaction of management is unacceptable; and to say that it was my fault to leave something in a room I'm staying at is insane.
Now, I want to be as fair as possible. As for the hotel itself, the outside looks dated but the rooms are decent; although I must say to pay extra for the pool view wasn't worth it in my opinion. Location is great especially if your intention is to be as close to LAX as possible, and that might be the only reason to be able to justify the prices they charge for a stay.
All in all, I wouldn't go back to this place again and wouldn't recommend it to any family or friends. I'd look elsewhere unless location is all that matters to you and are able to justify the cost.
UPDATE: Sent them an email as they requested and provided more specific details regarding our stay but as of editing this review (4/7/24), still no response. This update is not to elicit a response from management but to let people know what kind of service you can expect.
