Annie is amazing and cannot recommend her enough. She has captured some of the most important moments in our lives over the last couple of years. She is amazing with portraits but candid photos are why we continue to hire Annie. She captures moments in life you’ll be happy to be able to relive years later. She is very professional, flexible, and willing to travel. We took our engagement photos in our favorite city in Mexico in 2019. She was very flexible when we decided to cancel our LA wedding last year and changed to an elopement in San Diego. Annie does more than capturing your wedding. She also does family collections. Due to COVID she wasn’t able to be in the hospital for the birth of our son but she visited us at home and took photos of us with our newborn. It’s been a few weeks and we keep going back to them and remember the day. We will definitely have Annie capture family moments once our baby is older. Hire her, you won’t regret it.

If you need an angel to pick up the pieces when everything seems to fall apart—Annie is for you. Joe and I fell in love with her the first time we met, and her constant mindfulness shows in her craft. We took our engagement photos with her, since we desperately needed some decent photos to share with the family, and they came out so beautiful that we had to share them immediately. Everything from romantic to silly (we can’t help ourselves!) she captured with expertise. So when our wedding day rolled around, we knew we were in good hands. As with most weddings, you can’t plan for everything—especially when things go suddenly wrong. Our ceremony was beautiful and joyful, and Annie caught each moment that I remember and a few that I missed, which Joe and I will cherish forever. The same happened for our reception, she captured the beauty and drama of the venue, the few laughs and smiles of not-so-smiley people, and the tense and horrible moment when my Grandfather went down during his speech. A true photojournalist, she did not look away when all of us had tears blurring our eyes and calling for the paramedics. For a solid five minutes I thought I had lost everything and would only have this horrible moment burned into my mind forever. But Annie saved the day. She and her lovely assistant Janey stuck by us and captured the return to joy as the night progressed. Our families had come together and continued to celebrate, especially when we heard that Grandpa was awake and doing okay at the hospital. When Annie finally came back with the proofs, I cried again watching the story of the day unfold captured by Annie’s careful lens. The passion for her work and her beautiful personality shines through with every image. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Annie captured our wedding day brilliantly - couldn't recommend her more highly! They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and every time I look through our wedding photos, I feel all the joy and richness of our magical day flooding back. I have Annie - and assistant Brett (who we were lucky to have) - to thank for that! My husband and I agreed that we wanted our wedding day documented, but we didn't want to spend the whole day posing for formal, stuffy photos - we wanted to have FUN. Annie's documentary-style was the perfect solution, allowing us to enjoy our day, while she captured candid moments, details and shenanigans that ensued. When we shared the photo album with our guests, everyone commented on how excellently the photography reflected how gorgeous, beautiful and fun the day was. I can also recommend Annie as a good communicator and real professional, with clear pricing, contracts and payment reminders (helpful when you're planning so many things). She brought warmth & laughter on the day-of (we had fun!) and has a great ability to problem solve on the spot (for example, when we were running behind schedule). She put everyone at ease, and our photos speak to the fun we all had!

Annie Bang is an artist. Plain and simple. A visual storyteller that captured the heart and soul of our wedding like no one else could. We found her work , pretty much, after we got engaged and before a venue or anything was picked... we chose her. From start to finish working with her was a delight. Our photos are stellar from the wedding. Like seriously amazing. She helped us throughout the process and we feel like she is a part of our family. Annie is perfect! My wife found Annie after an exhaustive internet search and we arranged to meet her at a coffee shop to hear more about her style, pricing, etc. After we were done we immediately knew that she was going to be our photographer. We felt as though she was one of our long-time friends (and so did some of our wedding guests). She is so friendly, funny and easy to talk to - she also takes amazing pictures! At our wedding, Annie did whatever it took to get an amazing picture but stayed completely out of the way all the same. She even stood on her assistant’s shoulders at one point to get an angle! Her pictures are all candid and capture the moment so perfectly. She didn’t stage pictures like you see at some weddings, rather she keeps her attention on all the details and brings the emotions of the moment out in her pictures. She is also very talented in designing the wedding album. We wouldn’t have wanted anyone else. Thank you Annie!
