Tj North is a crappy gun shop the staff are rude and there prices are high and half the people working there don't know anything about guns I wouldn't recommend that place to anyone looking to buy a good gun!!!

I had 2 main issues with TJ Norths. They don't allow full refunds and only give out store credit for many items (which makes much of what they sell categorized as 'all sales are final') without much in the way of warning - but that's mostly a buyer beware type of thing. The second, and most prominent, issue that I have is that they have a phone system setup to separate the 'guns' and 'uniforms' departments; but after 4-5 attempts over 3 months, I HAVE YET to get a call back from the uniform extension and end up always having to either use the other 'guns' extension or drive there to get answers. In response to owner comment: I'm sorry that you don't like my review. I said that I have called multiple times and left messages on that extension with no call back. Today was the first time I got a call back from leaving a message on that extension and it appears to be due to this review. I did mention there wasn't anything that *warned* me about the return policy and that this was a 'buyer beware issue' and had no further cause to complain due to the recognition of the policy after the fact. This was merely information for future customers. As I mentioned in the edit of this review, I did receive a call but it didn't seem to be triggered by my uniforms being completed, rather this review. I was attempting to tell the owner that I had called about a couple weeks ago at least 2 times to find out the best times to come in for alteration measurements in addition to a previous 1-2 attempts months ago to ask questions regarding the purchase of complete uniform sets. My attempts to get this information out was not successful as the owner continuously interrupted me to tell me that I was a liar, was making up things, and that I need to find another place to shop. It's disheartening that this was the response to, what I felt, was a level headed opinion of my experience. The review wasn't meant to thwart future business, hence the middle-of-the-road 3/5 star review, rather constructive criticism in hopes that my future experiences would improve. I was hoping that the owner might see a possible issue with the systems but I suppose traveling an hour to use his specific store because of a recommendation won't be in my future. To those future customers, I stand by my review and would hope that, despite this singular example, you give this location a shot. I would, however, caution you about being publicly critical of how things operate as you may find yourself in the same boat as me.
