Small gated community of homes situated right in the dunes. They look like they were originally built in the 1950-60s, and most are lightly remodeled inside. The homes are next to a tiny boardwalk with beach access, so sunset walks are always a treat. The tennis courts are in excellent shape and there's a community pool & Jacuzzi too, the latter of which could use a refresh but is still fine to use. It's reminiscent of Sea Ranch though not as fancy, and it isn't as affordable and remodeled as a few shoreline communities further north, but it's an area fairly close to Monterey with much better views and offers a sense of seclusion.

Call if you need to rent a spot for vacation or trip to the Monterey bay

Beach is rocky and doesn't have the best sand for kids to play. Also, the surf is very dangerous and I would not advise swimming as the shoreline drops quickly. It is beautiful to look at, so if that is your thing you will love it.
