THE WORST MECHANIC IN NAPA!!
First off, I came in because my car was making noise and they diagnose my car to see what's going on. They call me to tell me what it is and they can fix it that day with no problem. Cool.. So they fixed it and ended up fixing two separate things in my car and it seemed to be fixed. A two days later I can hear the noise coming back and another strange noise coming from the back of my car so I took it back in. He took at look at it and said that the New Part they put in was "Defective." So they replaced it with a new part again and the noise was gone but they only fixed one noise and Jairo the Manager/Owner, said that his employees never told him about the second noise so they didn't fix it. So I had to come back AGAIN to fix the other noise which was the original noise that I brought my car in for. So I bring it in so they can diagnose the noise again and I left my car with them all day and I ended up calling them to check on my car and they said "We cant hear the noise." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I left my car with you all day so you can tell me you cannot hear the noise. So I had to go to the shop and my Boyfriend got in the car and started driving it around the block and you can hear the noise instantly! So we had to prove to him that the noise was there. Then he diagnosed it and he said the other part that he put in was also Bad!! Come on now.. At that point I was really disappointed with these guys so I just wanted them to fix it. So he made us come back another day because they failed to tell me they couldn't hear the noise earlier in the day.. Now this was day 4 of getting the same part installed and I brought it in at opening time like I did every other time and I called at 4pm to check on my car and the mechanic said "oh we are only half way done with your car." Whhaat??!! The mechanic asked me if Jairo said that they would fix it that day and I said YEESS!! Then he said they will try their best to finish it but, they are not sure. So I told him okay just call me back to let me know. I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK AND THEY KEPT MY CAR OVERNIGHT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!! I missed my College Class because they failed to notify me about my car! I went down to the shop and called and banged on the door to find out what's going on and no one was there. I went back in the morning to see if my car was even there and the mechanic told me that they were not finished with it and they didn't call me back because The Boss was not there... Really??!! You need your boss to show you how to use a Phone??!! That's my car and you cannot just keep it without notifying me or my permission!! I almost wanted to call the police!
They have a warranty on the parts they get from Napa Auto Parts and Napa Auto Parts pay Jairo Auto for labor and the parts if they are bad. So it seems like he is taking advantage of Napa Auto Parts because they pay him for work that they are doing again. That's how they are staying in business. I felt like I was really taken advantage of. This guy is definitely a scam artist and takes advantage of those who don't know much about cars.
