Captain Newport is simply the best when it comes to chartering and rentals! There is no other option for the highest quality experience on the water. Everyone was so helpful and nice, from the owner to the captain and crew. I was catered through my booking seamlessly and received all the information I needed in a detailed email.
The owner was very kind and made sure I had the best boat, making thoughtful suggestions of ways to enhance our trip. The captain was very knowledgable about the harbor and shared a lot of interesting information. The bartender/stewardess made sure we had everything we could imagine at our fingertips.
All in all it was full of incredible memories and I will definitely be returning to Captain Newport for all of my yachting adventures. Looking forward to the next one and thank you to all who made it a special day.

I recently booked a 8-hour yacht charter for my wife's birthday (for 12 guests) and it was an incredible and unforgettable experience. The good vibes and energy started long before we hit the water as the booking process with Reuben was easy and seamless. We were very particular in what we wanted, so we asked to see several boats and Reuben was very accommodating and patient. When we found the one we wanted, Reuben was thorough and communicative to us on our service options and how to have the best experience on board. He put together an all-star crew for us. Our captain, James, was fun and engaging. The main broker and deck hand, Jason, was friendly and accommodating. Our bartender, Brooke, was extremely attentive and helpful. We hired our own chef for the day (familiar with private yacht parties) and it made all the difference! We went down the coastline, and even was able to anchor and jump out in the water and do some swimming and enjoy the water sports. Our guests raved about how relaxing and luxurious it was, and my wife was extremely happy about how the day went. We would definitely charter with Captain Newport again, and have already recommended them to several friends looking to charter as well!

This place is top knotch! Beautiful experience and yacht.
Peg our Capt. Takes pride with his job and he was very entertaining 👏. We had a blast with our birthday party 🎉.
We're for sure booking a charter Catalina also Balboa Bay Resort referred us and we can be more grateful.

Captain Newport was very nice and generous in extending the date our reservation because of Covid and the California lock down. This year we were able to take our cruise. Captain Peg took us out passed Newport to spread my wife's ashes. He presented us with coordinates of the location. He helped to lighten the mood after the ceremonial showing us dolphins and telling us about the local area. Thank you Captain Newport and thank you Captain Peg. We wish you "fair winds and following seas" where ever you go.
