An old hotel. Bed wasn't that comfortable, parking not that great, location was great! Woke up to turn on the heater, which didn't work. Good thing we were only staying the 1 night. Rooms : 3/5 | Service : 3/5 | Location : 5/5 More

Our experience at the hotel was pleasant, very personable, and had a "homey" feeling to it. The staff was very friendly especially Warren. The continental breakfast foods available were perfect. Loved eating our breakfast on the sun deck as the views from the roof top were beautiful! The hotel's location is great because you can walk to the pier and enjoy the many restaurants nearby. Depending on when you stay during the week, free parking is easy to find. Would definitely stay here again as the staff was all very welcoming and friendly!!

I loved my stay here. Totally not fancy, totally great. The staff are friendly, you can walk to the beach or the bay and get good food close by. The rooftop deck offers amazing views and they have cookies! I hear its changed hands and will be renovated....go now before it's too late.

We liked this place so much that we came back the very next weekend! A formerly family-owned place for many years, it is a hotel that feels like a cross between a motel and a casual bed and breakfast. Every staff member we met was friendly, and helpful, and seemed very happy to be working in the hotel. The rooms are good-sized. They are dated, but that is part of the charm. The small breakfast area is really nice. It is less than a block from the beach and the hotel has free chairs and boogie boards. Despite a few rough edges, this place totally charmed us. We were sad to learn that a small chain of west coast hotels has bought it and will be remodeling it soon. All it really needs is an updated elevator and freshened-up furnishings in the rooms, but it sounds like it will be more like a major remodel. To the family that owned it for so many years, please know that we were happy to find it and enjoy it before the changes happen. It is obvious that a lot of love has gone into the place!
