When deciding to upgrade our HVAC to include air conditioning, I was worried about the strict testing requirements imposed by the state, and that I would be required to rip open walls chasing down leaks, tempting me to go down the unpermitted route to avoid such hassles. Vinny agreed to do a HERS 'pretest' to measure our current state to see if it was feasible to go down the route of an AC install with a HERs pass. We passed this pretest and decided to move forward with a fully permitted AC install, but much more importantly Vinny was highly informative about the test, how I could be impacted if we fail and what mitigations may exist. HE responded quickly via text, was also exceptionally polite and respectful of our home, and even maintaining 10+ foot social distancing inside the house upon our request so my 2-year-old wasn't at any risk of COVID, though Vinny is vaccinated (as we all should be). Lastly, Vinny seamlessly integrated with the HVAC installer's project manager and even had a reputation precede himself in a good way - "oh Vinny, awesome, we work with him" were the words. It was effortless on my part.
