Love the Z-Hotel! This is my go-to place when I travel to Oakland. It is a very clean, pleasant and relaxing facility located at the edge of beautiful Jack London Square and within walking distance to great entertainment and eateries, including world-renowned Yoshi’s. I highly recommend this hotel—definitely two thumbs up!!!

Hidden gem. Most would never know this hotel was there and honestly it's probably better that way. Once you step thru the doors the fact that your downtown disappears which is nice. It's its own little world. Beautiful courtyard with pool,soda machines, gym. The only downfalls. Room was a little small and secure parking is $30! That's way steep in my opinion. Overall is was a nice stay.

Pros: It's in walking distance to Jack London Square Waterfront and some of the best restaurants, also in walking distance.

A well updated and clean motel, with good price, good location, and it felt secure.
