I think I can finally write a review about this building. I lived there for a year and I am happy that I moved out. During this period, I tried to remain calm and not get into any argument with the management of this property. First, my packages got stolen a handful of times from inside the property and no one was responsible, not the leasing office nor the headquarters. Second, the parking situation is awful, at least once a month it was down and it was happening mostly on weekends, the only days I wanted to get my car out and go for shopping. The other thing, they were charging my small studio apartment, $120 a month just to pick up the trash. It was double of my electricity bill. And other charges, you expect to pay $200 just utilities in this building, parking was also $180. Overall, I will never rent here again.

As much as I would like to give the community a good review, there is no way. The beauty of our apartment/the building is ruined by the staff. We moved in May 15th, 2023 and have had nonstop issues ever since. The manager, Donnell, basically started at the same time we moved in. Unfortunately I dont think that position is suitable. He constantly gives you false information, does not check his facts before giving you answer. For the most part, he gives you an answer so you can leave him alone and find out he was completely wrong later. First moving in, the cleaner of the property hit and ran my car - the community did nothing about it when confronted, was never given insurance information, never given anything and was completely ignored about the situation and still kept that cleaner as an employee. My fiances car was vandalized in the garage by another resident (deeply keyed all around his car). Our unit was not turned, all of our appliances did not work, 3 dirty swifter pads were left in our DRYER (which is weird considering the apartment wasnt even cleaned), pee all over the toilet and on the floor, our new washer and dryer did not arrive for 2 months and when installed the maintenance scratched our floors horribly because training on how to use an appliance dolly was obviously missed. When the maintenance was sent to fix our floor, he left the glue all over making multiple stains and VERY STICKY. We finally transferred to something bigger and again, our new apartment was not checked at all. Basically a full pack of smoked cigarettes were left on our balcony and smashed on the ground from being put out, the entire apartment was filthy. Counters had yellow stain, the chain to our blinds in my 1yr and my 4 month olds room was broken (safety hazard), hand marks on the walls, AC filter was disgusting and looked like it hadnt been changed since this property opened, etc. Me and my fianc work in property management so you could only imaging the disappointment in how much the management doesnt want to do their proper walks / due diligence. There is no one here who takes accountability. Dont bother trying to reach out to the regional Gina, she is just as useless and lazy. Do you yourself a favor and dont rent here. Maintenance is nice, no issues.

This apartment has big windows that let in lots of sunlight and offer amazing views. The balcony is huge and great for hanging out. Nice management team and also good location.

This Apartment has the best view in East Bay with a reasonable price, period. This Apartment has the most responsive management team from my experiences, period. Lawrence the maintenance man along with Donell the manager of property makes the A team. They help us replaced 2 broken appliances within days! A Great place to live in Oakland California.

Overall my time here was really positive. I really liked my apartment and there was safe/gated parking. Pros: nice units, large bedrooms, quiet residents, friendly community. Cons: A lot of turnover in management; ultimately decided to move due to general safety concerns in oakland; modest amenities. Donnell is great to work with & has helped to turn around the consistency & communication issues with management.
