I got my solar installed more than 2 years ago and it has been the worst experience with this company I been paying for my solar to the financing company and then allso paying the electric company because the companys agents are negligent and I been trying to get in touch with the office for over 6 months and they dont even called back.

This company took my $10,000 deposit and will not return phone calls or emails. There is not a office building in Orville, CA.

signed in July, horrible communication, WORST SOLAR COMPANY OUT THERE! Do yourself a favor and do your research !! Read reviews!! This company changed there name to Lotus but still the same horrible company!! You can never speak w anyone !! Horrible Horrible

I am suspicious of the 5 star reviews on here. They seem to all have been written around the same time. Also a red flag because there are no 2,3,or 4 star reviews. Either 5 stars or 1 star. My husband and I are giving them a resounding 1 star!! We wish we could give negative stars. We also wish we had read reviews before we signed anything with SunStor Solar. Our experience is similar to so many on here. We have had panels on our roof and a battery,etc installed on our house since July 13, 2021. We were told it needed to be inspected by the city. We have yet to see anyone from the city. My husband calls them almost weekly to no avail. He has been told many times someone will call or come out by the end of the day. LOL!!! Nope! We do receive an invoice every month from the finance company which we pay along with our City of Redding electric bill. We are small local business owners and have been for over 20 years. We haven't had so much as a returned check. Occasional disagreements which are settled quickly and professionally. Good people live here. It has been so disheartening to deal with a company that appears to only care about getting paid and not about it's customers and the promises that were made to them. I saw a rare reply by the company to a negative review on here. They accused the customer(reviewer) of yelling at the staff. First of all I can't believe the customer actually got through to a living person and second I don't blame him. It may not be the most effective way to communicate but understandable. The frustration that comes from spending soooo much money on something that does not work is beyond frustrating. The lack of communication were it not so aggravating is impressive. Not sure how they have gotten away with it for so long. This is a warning that we wish we would have read before we started. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SUNSTOR SOLAR!

Unbelievably horrible. Lies, deception and failure to perform. They could only be this bad purposefully. They absolutely refuse to communicate, and when they do finally respond they lie and they mislead us. We contracted with SunStor at the end of April. Its nearly September and all they have accomplished has been to send out a sub-contracted roofer, which they assured us numerous times they would do the roofing in house. They lied and said they used this particular roofer hundreds of times, but the roofer told us he had never worked for them. Right up to the day the roofer showed up they were telling us they would send an in-house roofer, not a sub. Shame on me for not reading the contract more closely, they take a 40% payment as a progress payment, and they take that payment when all they have done is pull the permit, which is administrative work only. They do that immediately to get your money, and then they put on the extremely high pressure to get that check, and as soon as you give them the check they no longer return phone calls or emails or text messages. All the lines go silent. Four months later there is absolutely no indication that they are going to perform the work. If you search for their name the Google reviews immediately pop up in the sidebar, showing the great average rating. They had only a handful of reviews prior to 7 months ago, with a lot of them being negative. Then suddenly 67 five-star reviews. I find it difficult to believe that customers suddenly started reviewing in droves over a 2-month period, and all those generic reviews are completely contrary to my experience. Do NOT contract with this company. Theyre management and contract performance standards are the lowest of any organization I have ever worked with in my entire life.
