Stayed in the Bellvue room. What a view! This alone was enough for us. Service was fine and the breakfast was pretty good. Wine in the afternoon and cookies after dinner. Such a quaint place with history. May not be the best for Littles. Probably the best of the Pacific Grove B&Bs. Walkability: Lovely trail across the road.

Place was charming, quaint, peaceful and a fabulous place to spend time. Rooms: Rooms were charming. We stayed in a cottage. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchen. Cottage was charmingly decorated and clean. Love it. Safety: I felt very safe. Walkability: Locate across from water. Plenty of sidewalks, lovely area for a nice stroll.

Seven Gables Inn is located in Pacific Grove, California, overlooking Monterey Bay. This stunning Victorian was a beachside family home built in 1886. It stayed that way until 1982, when it opened its doors to the public. Now part of the Kirkwood Collection, the inn has a beautiful mixture of twenty-five unique rooms. With breathtaking views of Monterey Bay and Lover's Point, it is a must-stay if you plan a trip to the area. Breakfast is included with your stay, and this is not an ordinary hotel buffet. With locally sourced organic fruits, freshly baked pastries, and your made-to-order eggs, this is a scrumptious treat to start your exploring day. If you prefer a quiet, read-a-book day, enjoy the peace of one of the perfectly appointed sitting areas off the lobby. Minutes from the Aquarium and sights and sounds of Monterey by car, bicycle, or your legs, a truly magical place. Rooms: All twenty-five are different and luxurious. Nearby activities: Lover's Point. The Monterey Aquarium. Cannery Row. Walkability: Walking along the bay allows you to get to the Monterey Aquarium, the sites of Monterey, and the historic town of Pacific Grove. Noteworthy details: Built in 1886. Truly unique.

Our first stay here. We loved the place! Very clean, staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Di Blassi room aka Mayfair room. With ocean views, very beautifully decorated and the cleanest room we ever stayed in. You can tell they pride themselves in keeping the place clean and tidy. Breakfast had plenty of options and good coffee and tea. We will stay here again, maybe in the same room.
