I needed desperate help to pass my Intermediate Accounting B class. They matched with a tutor who had passed the CPA exam. Not only did he get me through my class, he showed me methods for Accounting that none of my professors had shown me. He was quick to find gaps in my understanding. Most importantly he had availability to fit into my hectic schedule of work and school.

PVP Test Prep was highly recommended to us prior to my son working with their tutors. When interviewing, the owners and those who work in the front office with very professional and I felt had great insight into how to succeed on the ACT. The tutor assigned, Chris, was very nice and my son enjoyed working with her. But owners quickly detached from the process and were very very disorganized and I felt that my son's plan of attacking and succeeding on the test became disjointed. They represented to me that email receipts of charges and session notes would be emailed to me regularly. That was not the case unless I asked them for it and when asked they appeared to not understand why I was overlooked. They were very open to help reschedule if a conflict arose but watch out as what they say and what occurs is not always the case. I thought we were on the same page of our vacation absence but unfortunately the sessions after our return was canceled. Luckily I stayed on top it to notice the issue before problems. My son was sick one session and I called and rescheduled that one session and somehow all of the future sessions were canceled. I don't think I need to go on further about this. When it came down to strategy after some practice results came it was hard to come by. I would ask questions such as "My son did not finish practice exam- did anyone talk to him about an approach to this issue: guessing strategy, timing? The first answer was "No and well just place an answer anywhere and anytime he wants" Thats not a strategy and there is a strategy as to when to begin guessing and how to approach it. I was told that after a few practice exams that the owner/s would going to look at the exam to come up with a possible new approach and let me know. That never occurred. I was told that on the last tutor session before the ACT that the owner/s would come in to chat with my son and give last minute tips, etc. That never occurred. I requested to get the detailed reports of my son's last practice exam to pick up and some additional level 4 and 5 Math questions. I received level 3 questions, not level 4 and 5, and never received the detailed reports of his last exam. They told me that they would mail those missing reports. I got mail but NOT the detail results of his last exam but rather of a different exam he took. My last phone call to them was out of complete frustration as I really felt like my son did not have a "team" supporting him. I was told the "I am too busy because I have a high level client I need to deal with!" I think that says it all! My son ended up doing a little than expected but I could only think how he could have done with a more organized company and approach. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
